About the show
CICEME Expo, China International Coal & Mining Exhibition, is one of China’s longest-running trade fairs for coal and mining technology and equipment. Held in Beijing since 2003, it covers the whole production chain: intelligent and unmanned mining, digital safety monitoring, coal processing and low-carbon conversion, together with the machinery, electrical equipment and materials behind them. Its focus is the equipment and technology that coal and mineral producers use above and below ground, from heading and haulage to ventilation, power supply, safety and rescue.
Beijing is a natural home for the show. The city hosts the headquarters of most of China’s state-owned energy groups and the Beijing offices of leading global energy firms, and it puts the fair within reach of the capital’s research institutes and technology parks. Off the show floor, the organisers stage technical conferences, seminars and buyer matchmaking so that equipment suppliers and mining companies can meet in person. Visitors come from coal and mineral production, processing, engineering and equipment businesses at home and overseas.
