China International Metallurgical Industry Exhibition was first held in 1987 and is the only exhibition in China for metallurgy and metal hot working staged by a national industry association. Close to four decades of editions have made it a cornerstone event for the global metallurgy industry, recognised by steel producers, downstream users and suppliers at home and abroad.

The show covers the steel value chain: metallurgical and intelligent manufacturing equipment, production and auxiliary equipment, industrial automation, measurement, control and testing, industrial security, energy-saving, environmental and low-carbon technology, heat treatment, cutting and welding, and powder metallurgy, alongside zones for steel producers’ brands and for raw and auxiliary materials such as refractories, ferroalloys, industrial ceramics and carbon products. It is built around the industry’s move towards high-end, intelligent and green manufacturing, and is where supply meets demand and investment partnerships take shape.
