About the show
Qingdao International Metal Working Equipment Exhibition is a trade fair for metalworking machinery and technology, held each spring in Qingdao on China’s Bohai Rim. First staged in 2002, it has run every year since and has become a benchmark metalworking show for northern China, built on the region’s manufacturing base and its reach into the Bohai and Yellow Sea equipment markets.
Its exhibition profile follows the metalworking chain: metal cutting and forming machines, new metal materials, automation and industrial robots, tooling, gauges and abrasives, the aluminium industry, and the forging, casting and metallurgy equipment around them. Buyers come from more than a hundred end-use fields, among them automotive and mould making, home appliances, rail transit, shipbuilding and sheet-metal work, and the fair is designed as a single stop for comparing machines, materials and tooling and placing orders.
