About the show
China International Machine Tool Show is the best-known, largest and most influential machine tool exhibition in China, and the international industry ranks it as one of the four major machine tool shows, together with EMO in Europe, IMTS in the United States and JIMTOF in Japan. It was first staged in 1989 and has been held in Beijing in odd-numbered years ever since.
The show has developed into a leading venue for the exchange and trade of advanced manufacturing technology and a platform for presenting the newest achievements in modern equipment manufacturing, and it is watched as a barometer of China’s machine tool industry and of the country’s progress in machinery manufacturing. For Chinese buyers and users the attraction is practical: it assembles the most advanced and best-suited machine tool products from around the world under one roof, an international survey they can make without leaving the country.
