About the show

Chengdu International Industrial Fair is an industrial equipment and automation show for Western China, held in the Sichuan capital for the manufacturing base that runs across Chengdu, Deyang, Mianyang and the cities around them. Six themed sections sit under one roof — industrial automation, robotics, CNC machine tools and metalworking, advanced materials, information technology, and energy-saving and industrial ancillary equipment — and a Sichuan industrial chain pavilion keeps the local supply chain in view.

Its floor follows the automation chain from component to production line: drive systems, control and sensing hardware, machine vision, industrial communications and fluid power; industrial robots and their controllers, reducers and servo motors; machining, forming, cutting and additive manufacturing; new materials and the equipment that makes them; industrial internet platforms, digital-factory software and artificial intelligence; and the pumps, motors, dust and explosion protection and cleaning technology that keep a plant running. Forums, technology exchanges and matchmaking meetings run with the stands, and the organisers market the fair to buyers along the equipment-manufacturing chain in Sichuan, Chongqing and the wider western region.

Reference

Themed sections
The fair is built around six shows — industrial automation, robotics, CNC machine tools and metalworking, advanced materials, information technology, and energy-saving and industrial ancillary equipment — with a Sichuan industrial chain pavilion added for the western manufacturing base.
Concurrent programme
A programme of conferences, seminars and company talks on current industry topics runs through the three days. The 2026 edition opened with the CDIIF opening forum and the Sichuan–Chongqing industrial digital transformation conference, and added sessions on embodied-intelligence components, computing power for green industrial transition, machine tool and welding technology, and matchmaking meetings for integrated-circuit applications.
2026 edition
The 2026 fair closed on 13 March 2026 after covering more than 50,000 m², drawing 550-plus exhibitors and 50,372 professional visits, with more than 20 events held alongside the six themed areas.
Buyer reach
Chengdu sits at the junction of the Belt and Road, and the fair draws its buyers from the manufacturing clusters of Sichuan and the wider south-west, among them Chengdu, Mianyang, Deyang, Nanchong, Yibin and Luzhou.
