About the show

China Windpower, known as CWP, brings turbine manufacturers, component and service suppliers, project developers, utilities, investors, research institutes and industry associations together once a year, and is a barometer for the sector. The exhibition floor runs alongside a programme of conferences, product launches, technical seminars and business matchmaking.

The floor spans the wind power supply chain end to end: turbines, blades and moulds, gearboxes and drivetrains, bearings, towers, fasteners and nacelle components, electrical and control systems, converters and inverters, cables, sensors and software. It also takes in wind resource assessment and turbine design, hoisting, logistics and operations and maintenance, offshore wind engineering, energy storage and hydrogen equipment, and intelligent manufacturing, alongside the certification, consulting and training services that support the sector.

Reference

Concurrent shows
Three specialised shows run alongside CWP at the same venue on the same dates: CWP HFC, the 3rd Hydrogen Equipment and Fuel Cell Industry Exhibition; CWP Offshore, the Offshore Wind Engineering and Equipment Exhibition; and NES+, the New Energy Storage Conference and Exhibition.
Exhibition sectors
Exhibitors book into one of four sectors: wind power, energy storage, green hydrogen and offshore engineering.
Conference programme
The 2026 programme runs more than 300 forums, seminars, technical lectures and product launches. It opens with a plenary and round tables on 14 October, and takes in the Innovation Theatre, a Power-to-X summit on hydrogen, ammonia and methanol, a forum on pairing computing power with renewable electricity, a wind-and-technology forum and a forum on energy storage across multiple applications.
Themed zone
A 200 m² “POWER TO X” zone follows a 24-metre route from wind to green molecules — hydrogen, ammonia and methanol — and on to the industries that use them: metallurgy, green chemicals, fertiliser, protein production, industrial steam, aviation fuel, ammonia-powered shipping, long-duration storage, district heating and backup power for data centres.
Previous edition (2025)
CWP 2025 drew 941 exhibitors from more than 20 countries and regions and 120,883 professional visits from 68 countries and regions. It ran more than 300 forums, seminars, technical lectures and product launches.
