About the show

CIFA is built around one task: giving overseas food and agricultural suppliers a route into the Chinese market. It brings producers, exporters and national pavilions together with Chinese importers, distributors, retail chains, e-commerce platforms and foodservice buyers, and adds conferences on food safety, market access, labelling and customs procedure.

Tianjin shapes the fair. As a northern economic centre and a major port, the city is an established distribution base for imported food, with bonded zones that support cross-border retail and a cold-chain network built on the airport and the port. The floor covers the whole trade, from meat, seafood and dairy to beverages and spirits, grains and oils, snacks and confectionery, and speciality and health foods.
