About the show

Food2China Expo in Guangzhou trades food and ingredients in both directions: overseas producers looking for Chinese buyers, and Chinese regional producers looking for domestic channels and export markets. It brings international pavilions and regionally grouped domestic producers together on the same floor, and covers the food chain from imported and packaged foods through fresh produce, meat and frozen products, wine and spirits to bakery, dairy and catering ingredients.

It is a trade show in the strict sense: sourcing meetings, product launches and channel talks rather than consumer retail. Buyers come from restaurant and hotel groups, supermarket and convenience chains, importers and distributors, and e-commerce, community group buying and cold-chain logistics; requirements are collected before the show, matched to exhibitors on site and followed up afterwards.
