About the show

CHINAFIFE, the China (Fuzhou) International Seafood & Fisheries Expo, is approved by China’s Ministry of Commerce and covers the whole fisheries chain: aquaculture, distant-water fishing, seafood processing, prepared and convenience foods, and processing equipment and packaging. It links the global aquatic supply chain with the Chinese consumer market.

The fair gathers seafood producers and processors, equipment and packaging suppliers, cold-chain and logistics operators, aquaculture input and seed suppliers, restaurant and retail buyers, and importers and exporters from China and overseas. It serves as a sourcing and matchmaking platform for the aquatic industry, pairing the exhibition floor with buyer meetings, industry conferences and product launches, and has grown into one of the world’s largest fisheries trade fairs.

Co-located shows
The expo is staged with three concurrent events: the China (Fujian) Catering Ingredients Expo, the China (Fuzhou) International Food Packaging and Processing Equipment Exhibition, and the China (Fuzhou) International Aquaculture Exhibition.
Previous edition (2026)
The 18th edition, held on 12–14 June 2026, ran as a two-venue event for the first time, linking the Fuzhou Strait International Conference and Exhibition Center with the Huawei Xiyingli agricultural wholesale market. It covered 100,000 m² in total, with 74,000 m² of exhibition space and 2,399 booths at the main venue, and drew 518 exhibitors from more than 30 countries and regions, 44,500 trade buyers and 272,500 visits. On-site retail sales reached RMB 531 million and intended deals RMB 2.076 billion.
Buyer matchmaking
The 2026 edition ran channel-specific sourcing sessions: a supermarket session with national chains, a Yangtze River Delta catering supply-chain session and a VIP catering-brand buyer day. A rural-banquet forum brought more than 300 village-banquet buyers together with over 80 exhibitors.
New for 2027
The 2027 edition is planned to add a hotpot-seafood selection festival, a sourcing platform that links seafood ingredients at source with restaurant operators.
