About the show
Seed Industry Expo Chengdu is staged for the western China seed market and forms part of a series of agricultural shows for the region. It serves as a matchmaking platform linking the western seed market with suppliers and buyers, and its programme puts domestic and international brands on the floor alongside forums built around the crops and conditions growers in western China work with.
The fair runs on two tracks. Besides the indoor exhibition it stages a field show, where new vegetable varieties are grown on open ground through the autumn and judged where they stand. Alongside the stands it hosts technical forums for the growers, dealers, cooperatives and downstream users who make up its visitor base.
