About the show

China International Animal Husbandry Expo is a full-chain livestock trade fair. Breeding stock and commercial herds sit alongside feed and feed additives, veterinary medicine, vaccines and animal health products, housing, ventilation and temperature-control equipment, manure and biomass systems, forage and its processed products, and the meat, egg, dairy and wool end of the business, with processing, cold storage, packaging and transport equipment filling the gaps between them.

Species and input categories each get their own zone rather than being mixed together, so a visitor can stay inside one production system or walk the whole chain. Around the stands the programme runs conferences, technical lectures, new-product launches and matchmaking sessions, and national pavilions put overseas genetics, equipment and ingredients in front of Chinese producers.
