Organic Green Food Industry Exhibition is the organic and green-food section of CIHIE, the Beijing health-industry fair first staged in 2004. It gathers four supplier families: organic food and drink, organic non-food goods, green food and green agriculture, and premium ingredients. The people walking the floor are the ones who read the labels: speciality-food chains, supermarket and wholesale-market buyers, gift-box distributors and the live-commerce hosts who sell regional produce by the crate.

Trade matchmaking draws on the organising committee’s buyer database: purchasers and distributors are invited by product line and by the region an exhibitor comes from rather than by broad category. On the floor, organic rice, grains and cooking oil sit beside dairy, seafood, tea and organic Chinese medicine, with a smaller zone for organic cotton and natural cosmetics; green-food stands carry regional collective brands, protected-origin products and time-honoured names, while the premium-ingredient zone adds chilled meat, seafood, prepared dishes and catering condiments.
