Lighting is already traded in Yiwu at wholesale volume, and the Yiwu Lighting Exhibition gives that trade a fixed meeting point. The show is built on the city’s role as the world’s largest wholesale market for small commodities and one of China’s busiest cross-border e-commerce hubs, and it runs as a sourcing platform where buyers compare suppliers and place orders in one visit.

Its scope runs the length of the lighting chain: LED chips and packaging, drivers, optics, heat sinks and housings on one side, finished luminaires for commercial, health, road, landscape and outdoor applications on the other, and the dispensing, bonding, soldering and testing equipment used to make them.
