About the show
GILE, the guangzhou international lighting exhibition, covers the lighting and LED chain from chips, packaging, drivers and optical components through finished luminaires to the controls and platforms that operate them.
The floor is grouped under six themes: AI lighting ecosystems, home and commercial space, bio-optics and smart agriculture, culture and tourism visuals, low-carbon and smart cities, and advanced manufacturing. Between them they take in lighting for buildings, streets, venues and growing rooms, alongside the equipment that produces the light source itself.

Past edition
The 2026 edition drew 210,128 trade visitors from 164 countries and regions across 21 halls, with 2,802 exhibitors from 18 countries and regions. The figures cover the exhibition and the co-located Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology show.
Co-located show
Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology runs in the same halls, covering low-carbon building controls, smart power distribution, whole-house intelligence and hotel automation.
Programme
More than 100 sessions run across the four space settings of home, commercial, urban and cultural tourism, split into design activities and industry activities on lighting technology and channel innovation.
Award
The Aladdin Lamp Award is open for entries alongside the exhibition, recognising products and projects across the lighting industry.
