About the show
prolight+sound Guangzhou covers professional audio, lighting and staging technology: loudspeakers and amplifiers, stage lighting and control, rigging and stage machinery, broadcast and conferencing equipment, projection and video walls, and the system integration and IT services that tie a venue together.
The range maps onto the signal chain of a working venue. An audio system runs from microphone and console through amplification and processing to loudspeakers; a lighting rig runs from fixtures through dimming and control to rigging hardware; both end in the integration work that fits them to a hall, a studio or an outdoor stage.

Past edition
The 2026 edition covered 220,000 m² and brought together 2,227 exhibitors, drawing 111,065 trade visitors from more than 100 countries and regions. Overseas attendance rose 5 per cent year on year.
Programme
The PLS Unicorn series stages live entertainment around new stage design and lighting effects, with DJ and vocal performances, and connects through to the lighting halls in Hall B. A first-time exhibition of stage design work from 81 colleges across 25 provinces ran alongside, with ten keynote sessions.
Demonstrations
An outdoor line array demonstration plays large-format sound systems from international and domestic brands in sequence, and more than 30 seminars run with industry associations at home and abroad.
