CHINA P&E brings camera and lens makers together with the lighting, printing, storage and studio suppliers that sit around them, and with the dealers, rental houses, studios and imaging-service businesses that buy from them.

The floor is laid out by product category: camera bodies and digital backs, optics, video and cine equipment, enlarging and printing systems, studio lighting and backgrounds, film and consumables, and the accessories and outdoor gear that travel with a camera. A photography award, public lectures and themed image competitions run alongside, which is why trade buyers and working photographers end up in the same hall.
