About the show

GTF is a conference and exhibition for aero engines and gas turbines, built on the premise that the two industries share materials, parts and repair capacity closely enough to work as a single supply chain. The exhibition covers that chain end to end: complete engines and turbines, the alloys and coatings they are made from, turbine blades, compressors and combustors, fuel and control systems, test rigs, repair and overhaul equipment, and the casting, machining and additive processes behind them.

The conference programme is the larger half of the event, with sessions on heavy-duty gas turbines in the new power system, small and medium turbines in distributed energy and marine use, commercial engine airworthiness, and propulsion for general aviation. That mix sets the audience: engine and turbine makers and their suppliers, airlines and MRO providers, gas power plant operators and energy groups, research institutes, and overseas buyers brought in through matchmaking sessions.

Reference

2026 edition
It used 15,000 m² of exhibition space, drew 266 exhibitors and 3,003 conference delegates, and recorded a total attendance of 15,920, of whom 69 per cent were decision-makers.
Past editions
The event has run since 2014 and has been held in Shanghai, Wuxi and Chengdu. Exhibition space grew from 4,000 m² in 2023 to 10,000 m² in 2024, 13,000 m² in 2025 and 15,000 m² in 2026.
Matchmaking
A supply and demand conference runs alongside the exhibition, with more than 100 procurement matchmaking sessions and buyer delegations drawn from engine and turbine makers, airlines, gas power plants and overseas EPC contractors.
