About the show

China Maritime is an offshore engineering show built around the vessels and equipment that build, run and supply offshore installations. Its scope runs from the ships — platform supply, anchor handling, pipe-laying, dive support, semi-submersible heavy-lift and offshore wind installation — to the equipment on the platforms themselves: drilling and production modules, mooring and jacking systems, power and electrical gear, explosion-proof equipment, alarms, instrumentation and anti-corrosion coatings.

Designers, classification societies, shipyards, platform operators and oil company procurement teams work the same floor, which is why so much of the product range sits where shipbuilding meets oil and gas production. Subsea hardware, gas hydrate extraction equipment, marine renewables and port and terminal technology take the scope beyond oil, and a technical forum on offshore engineering equipment runs during the show.
