About the show
AFE, Agricultural Facilities Expo, is a trade fair for modern protected agriculture in China — the business of growing crops in greenhouses, plant factories and other controlled environments rather than in open fields. Aligned with China’s national plan for modern facility agriculture, it covers the full chain of the sector, from smart greenhouses, environmental control and precision irrigation to cultivation technology, harvesting and post-harvest handling.
The show brings together greenhouse builders, equipment manufacturers, irrigation and growing-media suppliers, seedling and plant-protection specialists, and the finance, testing and certification services that facility-agriculture projects depend on. It is positioned to bring international technology into the Chinese market and to take domestic innovation abroad, with visitors drawn from government agencies, research institutes, agricultural parks, farm enterprises, distributors and agents.
