About the show

CTEE, China (Harbin) International Coal Mine Safety Production and Intelligent Technology Equipment Expo, is the coal industry’s largest gathering in north-east China. The show is built around raising the technical level of mine safety equipment and supporting the sustainable development of the coal industry.

It brings coal producers together with the people who equip and service them — large state-owned collieries, coal-machinery manufacturers, research institutes, mining colleges, mine designers and construction contractors. Heilongjiang is one of China’s thirteen major coal bases and one of its seven coal, power and chemical bases, with around 23.8 billion tonnes of reserves across the Jixi, Hegang, Shuangyashan and Qitaihe fields; Harbin’s position at the centre of north-east Asia gives the show rail, river and air links towards Russia, Japan, Korea and Mongolia.
