About the show
CIEME, China International Equipment Manufacturing Exposition, is the only national equipment-manufacturing exhibition in China approved by the State Council. It is held in Shenyang and has run for more than twenty editions, growing into China’s largest general equipment manufacturing fair on the back of the revitalisation of northeast China.
The show is built around machine tools, industrial automation and construction machinery, and sets them beside power transmission, moulds, energy technology and other general and special-purpose equipment, so that visitors can follow a whole production line rather than single machines. Display, trade, industry exchange and investment talks sit inside the same event, and the fair also hosts national and specialised exhibition programmes commissioned by central government bodies.
