China Xinjiang International Agricultural Fair serves the farming sector of Xinjiang and the Silk Road countries. Approved by China’s Ministry of Commerce and supported by the municipal government of Urumqi, it serves as a meeting point in the region for producers and buyers of agricultural technology, inputs and equipment, and for cooperation between Chinese and overseas agricultural businesses.

The fair covers the modern farming chain across themed halls: smart-agriculture and digital-farming systems, intelligent agricultural machinery, protected and facility agriculture, integrated water-and-fertiliser systems, water-saving irrigation and smart water management, plant-protection machinery, new fertilisers and pesticides, seed-industry technology, green pest control, garden machinery and agricultural finance. Technical conferences, product launches and buyer matchmaking sit alongside the halls, making the fair a sourcing and knowledge-exchange platform for agriculture in Xinjiang and along the Silk Road.
