About the show
Expo Finefood Shanghai is a trade fair for the premium end of the food supply chain, built around eight product sectors that run from seafood, meat and hotpot ingredients through prepared and frozen foods, rice, flour and edible oils to condiments and ecological farm produce.
The fair is aimed at buyers from restaurants, hotels, catering chains, central kitchens and premium retail, placing ingredient sourcing next to the application side of the professional kitchen. It is staged in Shanghai as part of a spring platform shared with HOTELEX, the hotel and catering exhibition, and with coffee and tea, franchise and catering-equipment shows, so ingredient suppliers meet operators who are already buying equipment, tableware and beverage programs.

Four Shanghai shows run alongside the fair: HOTELEX Shanghai, the international hotel and catering exhibition; the Shanghai International Coffee and Tea Exhibition; SFE, the Shanghai international franchise and chain-store exhibition; and the Shanghai International Catering Equipment and Tableware Exhibition.
Competitions and conferences
Chef and catering competitions run through the halls, among them Chinese-cuisine challenge contests, a national group-catering competition, a young-chefs contest and an international culinary championship. The conference strand covers catering brands and product trends, central-kitchen supply chains, chain-store expansion and Chinese restaurant groups operating overseas.
Series editions
Expo Finefood runs as a multi-city series under the same organizer: Chengdu (2–4 July 2026), Shenzhen (13–15 October 2026), a second Shanghai edition (10–12 November 2026) and Guangzhou (10–12 May 2027).
