DFM, Greater Bay Area International Footwear Machinery & Material Industry Fair, is held each spring in Dongguan for the shoemaking industry of the Pearl River Delta and the overseas buyers it supplies. Its exhibits follow the production chain: footwear machinery, injection moulding and synthetic leather equipment, knitted uppers and shoe materials, leather chemicals, bag and luggage machinery, and the computer-aided equipment that goes with them.

The fair is supported by the footwear machinery, shoe material, leather and bag trade bodies of Guangdong and Hong Kong, and it brings together equipment makers, material and chemical suppliers, agents and distributors, and footwear manufacturers from China and overseas. A programme of forums and on-site demonstrations runs alongside the exhibits.
