About the show
First staged in 1998, Northeast Welding EXPO has grown into the longest-running and largest welding, cutting and laser technology exhibition in Northeast China.
The exhibition covers welding and cutting technology and equipment — arc, resistance, electron-beam, laser, plasma, friction, electroslag, brazing, surfacing and solid-state welding plant, thermal spraying, cutting machines and CNC cutting systems, welding robots and automatic welding lines — together with laser marking, engraving and heat-treatment machines, welding consumables, welding CAD/CAM software, shielding and cutting gases and non-destructive testing instruments. Shenyang, where it is held, is the transport hub and industrial base of Northeast China, close to the Korean Peninsula, Japan and Russia, and the show draws exhibitors and buyers from Liaoning, Jilin, Heilongjiang, Inner Mongolia, Hebei, Beijing and Tianjin as well as from neighbouring border markets.
