About the show
SF EXPO, Guangzhou (China) International Surface Finishing, Electroplating and Coating Exhibition, is a specialised trade fair for the surface-treatment industry. It covers the surface-engineering chain as a whole — mechanical surface treatment, pretreatment and electroplating, vacuum coating, industrial coatings and coating lines, control and testing equipment, and the environmental-protection and personal-protection equipment that accompanies them.
The show is held in Guangzhou, at the centre of one of China’s two major manufacturing regions. The surrounding industrial base has grown into a cluster of automotive and parts, home-appliance, electronics, hardware, sanitaryware, aluminium-profile and lighting producers — the industries whose metal, plastic and glass parts the surface-finishing supply chain exists to treat.
