About the show
CIAIE is a trade fair for vehicle interiors, exteriors and integrated cockpit technology, arranged in four sections: interior assemblies, trim and materials; the smart cockpit and its electronics; exterior body, glazing and lighting; and customisation and modification.
Materials and process suppliers — leather and fabric, films and foams, moulds, coating and joining equipment — exhibit alongside the component makers, so a buyer can follow a part from substrate to the finished assembly. Visitors are mainly design, R&D, purchasing and manufacturing engineers from vehicle makers and tier-one suppliers, and the organisers arrange matched meetings before the show and during it.
