About the show
Shanghai International Electrothermal Technology and Equipment Exhibition (DREXPO) is a trade fair for the electric heating industry. Held in Shanghai and billed by its organiser as the most influential event of its kind in the Asia-Pacific region, it gathers makers of heating elements, industrial electric heating equipment, heating materials and fittings, temperature-control systems and high-temperature cables, and covers the chain from raw materials and components through heating-element manufacturing machinery to finished heating equipment.
Its products range from everyday appliances — water heaters, hair dryers, microwave ovens, toasters, air fryers, space heaters, coffee machines and electric blankets — to explosion-proof heaters and electric boilers, and they serve home appliances, pharmaceuticals and food, electrical and electronics, beauty and hairdressing, wire and cable, metallurgy, petrochemicals, automotive, aviation and shipbuilding. It is where exhibitors launch products for China and overseas markets, exchange technology, negotiate business and keep track of where the industry is heading.
