About the show
Surface PME, Surface Precision Machining Exhibition, is devoted to the processes that give a finished part its surface: precision grinding, deburring, lapping, polishing, industrial cleaning and vacuum coating. Wear resistance, fatigue strength, corrosion resistance, fit and working accuracy are settled at this stage of manufacture, and with them the service life of the component.
Founded in 2019, the exhibition groups the field into four areas — precision grinding and superfinishing; deburring, lapping and polishing; industrial cleaning and cleanliness control; and vacuum coating — and presents them as stages of one route to finished surface quality, since a critical part usually passes through several before it meets specification. Technology suppliers and the plants that finish the parts are both in the hall.
