Wire China covers wire and cable together with the machinery, materials and instruments that go into making them. The floor is organised by process rather than by end market: drawing, stranding and extrusion machinery, auxiliary machining equipment, the copper, aluminium, compounds and other raw and auxiliary materials that feed them, finished wire and cable, and the measurement, testing and inspection systems that keep a line in specification. Spring and fastener manufacturing equipment, which works from the same forming and finishing base, is shown alongside.

Visitors come from electric and optical fibre cable production, the wire industry, automotive supply, iron and steel and non-ferrous metals, information technology and telecommunications, aerospace, electronics, electrical equipment and construction.
